I've started a few small businesses over the years, but Whimsey & Grace isn't really one I planned. I picked up mahjong a while back and fell in love with the people more than the game. Friends started asking where I got my mats, then friends of their friends asked, and that's how this turned into a store. It's the easy way to get a mat to your door — but I still read every message myself. The conversations are my favorite part.
